Frequently asked questions

Straight answers for fleet owners and dispatchers.

Everything worth knowing about how Loadagent automates freight load search and booking for European trucking fleets. If your question is not here, email us and we will answer it directly.

What is Loadagent in one sentence?

Open

An AI dispatcher for European trucking fleets. It searches Timocom for loads that fit each of your trucks, emails the load owners, reads the replies, and checks the company and the transport order. Your dispatcher decides what to book.

Who is Loadagent for?

Open

Fleet managers, dispatchers, freight forwarders and owners of expeditionary trucking companies moving freight across Europe. Customers range from operators with a handful of trucks to large international fleets. The fit is strongest where dispatchers spend the day working the spot market rather than running fixed contracted lanes.

What is automated load search?

Open

Software that watches a freight exchange continuously and compares every new posting against your trucks, instead of a dispatcher refreshing filters by hand. Loadagent is the app that does this on Timocom: one live search per truck, running day and night, scoring every compatible load and putting the best ones at the top of the list.

What is freight automation?

Open

Software, increasingly AI, taking over the repetitive work of finding, negotiating, screening and booking freight loads. Loadagent is a freight automation copilot for expeditionary fleets: it scans the load board around the clock, contacts load owners, extracts transport order PDFs, checks counterparties and contracts, and works out the profit left on each load. Your dispatcher approves every booking.

How does the AI score work?

Open

Every load that fits the truck gets a score, and the list is sorted by it, so your dispatcher works from the top down instead of reading hundreds of postings. The score weighs the money (what the load should earn against what that particular truck costs to run), the fit (how well it suits the vehicle and where it already is), and the timing (how soon it has to move and how long it has been on the board). Loads from companies you mark as preferred are lifted up the list. Risk is a separate check that runs before you commit.

What happens when a load is posted without a price?

Open

Most postings arrive with no price. Loadagent values them anyway, so they are ranked alongside priced loads instead of being skipped, and the valuation moves with the market. What you see on the offer is an estimated profit in euros for your truck after costs, which is the number that decides whether to take it.

Does the AI book loads on its own?

Open

No. Every booking waits for a dispatcher. The agent recommends what to do with each offer and prepares the reply, and nothing goes out until someone approves it. Outreach is sent from your own mailbox, so anyone on your team can open a thread and answer by hand at any point.

What does the agent send to load owners?

Open

The email you set up. You write the template once, in your wording and with your company details, and the agent fills in the load and the truck you are offering and sends it from your own mailbox. It reads the answers that come back and shows your dispatcher the offers that come with a real rate on the table. Every thread stays in your mailbox, so nothing is hidden from your team.

Can Loadagent read transport order PDFs?

Open

Yes. Scanned and digital PDFs go in and structured data comes out: addresses, stops, weights, dates, references, payment terms, whether original documents are required before you get paid, and any special conditions. Ready to send to the driver, export to Excel or, where supported, into your TMS.

How does Loadagent check who you are dealing with?

Open

Two checks, both before you commit. Every new counterparty is researched so you know who you are dealing with: how established the company is, how it pays, and anything that looks off. The transport order is read as well, and whatever could cost you (penalty clauses, tight windows, one-sided terms) is flagged with how serious it looks, so your dispatcher knows what to push back on.

Which systems does Loadagent integrate with?

Open

Timocom for the load board, through the official partner integration. For email, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook (as a Microsoft Verified Publisher) and any standard IMAP/SMTP server. Order details export to Excel, or into your TMS where we can support it.

How long does it take to get running?

Open

About an hour, with nothing to install. You connect your existing Timocom account through the official partner integration, connect the mailbox you already send from, enter each truck once (dimensions, weight, equipment, running cost) and start the first search. There is no data migration and no IT project.

Which countries does Loadagent cover?

Open

Loadagent works anywhere Timocom does, which is 46 European countries, inside and outside the EU. The fleets we work with run loads across the continent, with the heaviest flow on the usual freight corridors (Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Poland, France, Spain).

Is it GDPR-compliant and secure?

Open

Yes. Loadagent runs on Google Cloud infrastructure in the EU, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certified underneath, and Loadagent Technologies MB is an EU company based in Kaunas, Lithuania. Your data stays in the EU, your mailbox and load board access stay yours, and you can disconnect any integration from your settings at any time.

How much does it cost? Is there a free trial?

Open

A 14-day free trial is available. Reach out to [email protected] to get started, and we will set up the trial and put together a personal quote that fits your team.

What outcomes do customers report?

Open

Around 30% higher dispatcher productivity, about three extra trucks managed per dispatcher, and roughly 10% more profit per truck. Approximations from real usage; your numbers will vary with fleet size and lanes.
